First Impression: Tale Of Two Stans

This episode tells us the back story between the original mystery twins, Stanford and Stanley Pines. They use to be an unbreakable duo. Stanley was the strong one and Stanford was the smart one. When they were both in high school Stanley accidentally broke the machine that Stanford was going to present to the college board so he can be accepted their. After that the two went their separate ways. Stanley became a traveling conman and Stanford was awarded for his scientific achievements. Stanford then started to have an interest in the paranormal which is the reason why he went to Gravity Falls. He started to collect all of the information he was gathering into three journals. He then was interested in where all the unnatural phenomenons were coming from. This is when he decided to start building an interdimensional portal with the help of a scientist named Fiddleford McGucket. After the portal was completed it was tested, but soon after they found out a portal like this could destroy the Universe. This is when Stanford told his brother Stanley to meet him in Gravity Falls so he could keep an eye on one of the journals. After a huge argument between the two of them Stanley accidentally made Stanford go through the portal. Stanley then spent the rest of his life trying to get his brother back while disguising himself as his brother. This is when Stanley Pines became the Stanford Pines we know today. This episode was fantastic. I tied together almost all of the story details that everyone has been speculating about for years and also had very good character development, emotion, and quite a few funny moments. Also, Soos apparently wries fanfics. As long as Dipper and Mabel remain the Mystery Twins I will be fine.
